Sika® ViscoCrete®-10 Tempo PLUS NG

Multi-purpose Superplasticizer / High Range Water-Reducing Admixture

Sika® Viscocrete® Tempo 10 Plus is a new generation, non-chlorinated, acrylic copolymer superplasticizer / high-range water-reducing admixture.

Sika® Viscocrete® Tempo 10 Plus combines several actions. Adsorption to the surface and separation of fines particles during the hydration process give the following properties :  Very high water reduction (consequently high waterproofing and resistances).  High fluidity (consequently easierapplication).  High short term resistance.  High waterproofing improvement.  Better creeps and shrinkage behaviour.  Lower carbonation speed. Sika® Viscocrete® Tempo 10 Plus does not contain any chloride or other component which could cause or increase steel corrosion. It can be used without restriction for reinforced or prestressed concrete constructions

Usage

Sika® Viscocrete® Tempo 10 Plus is used for concrete in precast plants, on site and for ready mix concrete. Sika® Viscocrete® Tempo 10 plus is used for concrete that need to be transported over long distance or with extended application time. Sika® Viscocrete® Tempo 10 Plus is added for production of :  Plastic to fluid concrete.  Low W/C ratio concrete with or without silica fume. \  Concrete with high water reduction (up to 30%).  Concrete with air entraining.

Technical Information

Concreting guidance

The standard rules of good concreting practice, concerning production and placing must be followed.
Laboratory trials must be carried out before concreting on site, especially
when using a new mix design or producing new concrete components.
Fresh concrete must be cured properly and curing applied as early as possible

Concrete mix design

When using SikaViscocrete ® Tempo 10 Plus, a suitable mix design must be calculated.
The local material sources used within the mix design must always be trialled
and approved for suitability before commencement of the project.
