Sikalite® NG

Integral Waterproofing Admixture for Mortar and Concrete

Sikalite® NG is a ready to use powdered waterproofing admixture for cement / sand mortars and concrete. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Sikalite® NG contains pore sealing and water-repelling substances which provide the following beneficial properties:
  • Reduction in permeability
  • Increased durability

Usage

Sikalite® NG is used to provide waterproof structural concrete or cement/sand mortars, screeds and renders for walls, facades, floor toppings and jointing mortars.

Consumption

Recommended dosage

1kg per 50 kg of Portland cement i.e. 2% by weight of cement.
Application steps

MIXING

Sikalite ® NG is added to the dry mix of Portland cement and sand prior to the addition of the gauging water. Dry component should be mixed thoroughly before water is added to ensure a proper distribution of the Sikalite® throughout the mix.
